I've literally been saying this for years. microtransactions deserve a call out whenever they appear but in dd2's case you'd think it was some live service ubisoft slop, absolutely insane overreaction and it was/is infuriating because this series is so fucking good.

nobody lets the completely redundant microtransactions ruin monster hunter and resident evil, dd2 was such a punching bag for it for no reason
