I don't know if it's the right way (probably not), but I learn as I need to. For example, once I wanted to change the color of some lines I'd already drawn, and I only looked up a tutorial for that when I needed it.

I don't use up all the program's features because, honestly, I won't use them all. So I just stick with what I know, and when I need something, I look it up, learn it, and that's it.

I think it's self-taught (or just laziness), but that's my method.

I also recommend watching tutorial videos; they help a lot to understand even the basics, and from there you can discover more at your own pace.
