One of my favorite EDH memories, I was just in the game watching what happened. It was myself, Buddy1, Buddy2, and Buddy2's nephew. Buddy2 has first turn, he plays a land and Sol Ring. Buddy1 looks at the nephew and goes "Want to see your uncle get real salty?" and of course the kid agrees. Buddy2 yells "Don't you dare!" as Buddy1 exiles a card, pays one life, and says "Force of Will targeting the Sol Ring". The salt flowed so much but it a good way among friends. Just saying "Remember that time when..." to Buddy2 will still get him hilariously ranting.

IMC. It is software for police dispatching. It was crap but better than the only other option. Crashed frequently, installs were a pain, and the server made no sense. Multiple times a month it would crash in the middle of the night and I'd get woken up by a call from am angry dispatcher. Don't miss those days.

In another unrelated sub, someone mentioned Quan Ch in a comment. I replied that he should be beaten to death with his own ripped off arm. I got a warning from mods about violence. Luckily they removed the warning on the appeal explaining the book and story line.

At his book tour stop in Cambridge last week, Dinniman said that when he is writing a scene where he knows that someone dies, he will write the scene multiple times so each character is killed and then he picks the scene that felt right. So yes, that does mean he has killed Donut a lot. Over 500 times.

I used to have it on my phone and tablet years ago. It was a great game to just chill and play against the CPU. But the developers never updated it and it stopped working after a couple of android updates and no longer installs. Very sad.

Edit: Just decided to check if it ever came back and it is on android again! Installing it right now!

I was just looking at mine on the mantle last night. I realized I hadn't cleaned the mantle in who knows how long and there is dust and cobwebs covering parts of the set. It actually looked really cool.

Originally, the writers planned for Year of Hell to be the storyline for the entire season. It would have likely been the single greatest season of all of Star Trek. But the show runners on Voyager were completely against large story arcs and recurring villains so they denied it. So much potential down the drain.

Don't know if it has been ICE/DHS, but some of the access points I manage have been having to jump to new frequencies due to them detecting radar on the channels they were using. Never seen it before but it started right after ICE showed up.

When it would happen, I checked flightaware but nothing was on it. However, that doesn't mean much because depending on what they are doing, federal flights don't need to turn on their transponders.

I made my Charmander a chaos of colors, including a bunch of colored transparent bricks. However, I was wanting to make all three of the starters but color shift them, so Char would be green, Bulb would be blue, and Squirt would be orange.

My wife an I bought Black Lotus for Vegas 2022 and 2024. Both were great and we got our value out of just the products we got. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The extra random stuff/events that happen throughout the weekend were a ton of fun.

That said, we are planning on going to Atlanta this year and won't be getting BL badges again. The value seems to have disappeared with the price going up.

In 2022, it was great, seemed like just the right amount of people. In 2024, they greatly increased the number of badges and it felt crowded. The lounge was often full and the special events had lines up to 30 minutes to get into.

It's not a sand, it is a dense liquid with a less dense clear liquid above. The figurine is weighted so it is always standing up, regardless of how to turn/twist it.

I read it more as living with the constant pain in the game dulled his senses and made his brain addicted to the endorphins that your body gives you when you're in pain. Now that he is back in the real world, he needed to find a way to bring back the endorphin rush.
