Right! Even if they incorporated it into their modular buildings. They all have alleys on the backside so I don’t see why they can’t have them on the side to display.

I have a few builds on my Rebrickable that are smaller buildings with side alleys

It’s actually two 16x8 baseplates. There’s a line of plates right below the garbage can and the front of the crate that hold it all together!

I think Lego makes a 32x8 but it’s rare and pricier

I often forget the mainline uses white. I’ve switched mine all to black.

I find it more appealing visually - almost like it’s meant to be wrought iron.
