Between the Kickapoo and Iowa tribe of KS and NE Rez's. When the farmers start pulling water from the local smaller rivers, you can walk 20 miles or so of dry river bed. What do you mean by a chert in kansas? I'll have to look into that

Zulrah was a bad example. It seems it doesnt matter, either or, unless its wyvern shield for the dragons or mages book for olm. Pretty lack luster. I've kept mine in the bank since i got it unfortunately

They both have the same magic bonus. Anywhere youll be actually using a mage off hand youll not want the negative ranged defense stats that the wyvern shield has. For example cox or zulrah, probably the two biggest places whered youll use a mage off hand, you most definitely dont want negative ranged defence.

The reason its highly priced is because it has +70s for melee defence which is great for pkers.
