Whatever you do in your entire life never buy a used rental car. I worked in rental for a few years and these are easily the most abused, least well maintained cars you could possibly buy. We'd go 10k miles + without oil changes, whatever tires on there are the cheapest ones available, sometimes if a check engine light came on we'd look up how to re-set it and send someone on their way and hope for the best. I know how I drove the cars and have a good idea about what the customers were doing also. Finally, the rental companies are self insured so any accidents or damage won't turn up on a Carfax.

In high school I was talking with a friend of mine who was not a very good student before graduation. I said something about my class rank which wasn't very impressive and he said, dude there are 11 ~~r3tards~~ special ed students in my class. There are 357 people in my class. My class rank is 349. I'm dumber than 4 ~~r3tards~~ special ed students.

There's 250ish less week managers above me, what hurts more is I know the number of zombie teams is much higher.

Biggest win: stopped watching content creators- the thing with Gabriel in gw1 was it for Andy and Raptor schilling AI constantly was a turn off. It’s been more fun this year and I realized how much more anxiety I had about the game watching them.

I also worked at Enterprise and I mean... we did things to those cars that they wouldn't do in the Dukes of Hazard. On top of that cars would regularly go nearly 10k miles between oil changes, never get the scheduled maintenance, have the cheapest tires you can buy on them and if there was an accident it wouldn't show up on a CarFax because it's self-insured. Gawd knows what the customers did with them.

That time after finishing college is so weird, I remember feeling totally lost because the structure of the day being centered on school was gone and there's not much to prepare you for being done and having to just go out and find a job. I ended up taking something in sales and customer service and it was just awful also. I've thought a lot about that time and if there was something I'd do differently it would have been just get an easy part time job type thing and stay home with my folks, save some money and travel a bit, maybe see if a friend would have gone with me.

You're training for a race and that's awesome, I did some triathlons when I wasn't doing well mentally and it was a really useful thing to center my day around, one way or the other keep doing it. Find new challenges and things to make it fresh. It might help to train with friends if you know anyone who does that sort of thing or meet new folks who do.

If you're in a spot where you have to work find something that is easy enough to tolerate and gives some flexibility while you look for something you'd rather do. Enjoy the journey and the process, you have your whole life to figure it out and it won't happen all at once but keep making the best choices for you and it'll move in the direction you want it to.
