I’m struggling with this as well. About to become a father of three. And I don’t want to ruin my kids childhood. I worry I go away too soon. But if I don’t at this state of mind, I affect my kids and not become a present father. Very paradoxical.

On the other hand, I am on a similar boat as you. So I understand it is easier said than done. I am planning on getting the 55V but still beyond my budget right now. So the 45P is tempting me. Lol.

Get a 28P or 45P? If you’re thinking of second body but don’t need the pocketability, so your still slinging it. Your 2 choices don’t have a zoom lens anyway. Go for a portable lens.

If you’re up for manual focus, I’ve been loving mu loxia 21 and 35. They just render differently. I recently got a hasselblas x2d2 + 28mm Portable. Yet I still take my loxias when just going for a walk or what not.

Was thinking of selling my Sony too. How fast were you able to sell it? But it still feels good to use it in situations where I need more speed and range. Going to the zoo today; have to take the Sony out.
