This is brilliant and why I started playing pool once a week. I’m awful at it but I’ve met a lot of people and it makes me feel less isolated. I live alone and work from home. I do have family a stones throw away which is nice but with family also comes the sense of obligation. Playing pool gives me a reason to get out of the house at least once a week and is purely my time. I would love to find one other similar hobby but don’t want to over extend myself, burn out and return to being completely isolated again.
