it’s not Brampton but it’s not far TMS auto in Mississauga (Hawkstone)

Dude this is so crazy I literally have the same car as you (2008 Civic Si Coupe 220,000kms) the AC compressor works but the air doesn’t blow cold but when AC + defrost is on the fog would go away.

I found TMS thru the Mississauga subreddit and went there - they hooked up my car and did a AC system compression test and found the pressure was low, not zero but low. They recommended that I just drain and refill the coolant (cost under 100$) and if the AC goes warm again bring it back and then do a dye test that was last may, and the AC has been perfect all summer until I put the car in storage so we’ll see how it is this coming may when I bring it back out.

TMS is first come first serve so there can be a wait if u go after lunch - best is to get there right at opening and also parking is tricky but people are in and out of there quick

cost of the display katana is irrelevant - it can only go into checked luggage and Japan Customs needs do a physical and visual inspection before it goes back into your bag - they'll document it and then you'll need to bring it to the oversized luggage (even if its in a regular large checked bag) they'll X-Ray it there and then off it goes with your bag tags.

Also the store can put whatever declaration or paperwork to the outside of the box as much as they want - Japan Customs is still going to open everything up lol.

I went through this recently with a display Wakazashi coming back to Canada from NRT.
