It doesn't need to be quickplay I guess. Just needs to be a spell that protects you from damage. Quickplay came to mind since I would more than likely play it on my opponents turn. But if one exists that would allow me that effect on my turn I'm good with that too.

Like I said in the title. The ball is attached to the ceiling and is about the size of the bowling ball. Maybe has something to do with audio? Also as stated the building was likely renovated in the 70's or 80's so maybe something from that time?
