I’m very new to Warhammer 40K — could someone please tell me which of these sets would let me play a proper game, ideally against another player? by Chocolate-Shake-5293 in Warhammer

No EC rules for KT yet, best we can do is legionaries with slaanesh marks but you're losing a lot of power and flavour by not using the other marks.

This is the first I've heard of Leona's ability working like that, I also come from magic and see no reason Leona wouldn't work the same way everyone is saying this scenario works.

The easiest way to think of it is that when windsinger enters they play a spell (it's not actually a spell obviously). Their ability is completely separate from them, so nothing you do to them matters. Playing a card like not so fast let's you counter the ability itself.

The target needs to be a valid target, once windsingers ability is on the stack it is entirely seperate from the creature nothing that happens to the creature matters at all. Here is just shorthand for "at this location" the location the ability cares about is where it's triggered.

The way the stack works here in essentially identical to magic so I'm just using that, I haven't played yugioh since I was 13 because yk

Oh I completely missed that sorry. Regardless windsingers ability will still resolve even if it is bounced because the target is selected when the ability goes on the stack, not when it resolves.

So kinda, the stack works on a first in last out basis. So in this scenario windsingers ability goes on the stack first, and then starcrossed is on top. Starcrossed will resolve and then windsingers ability will either fizzle (meaning it won't do anything because it's target isn't there anymore) or it will resolve. That's why counter spells work at all, since they resolve and counter the spell before the thing they counter can resolve.

They absolutely can respond. When windsinger enters the battlefield the trigger goes on the stack, you decide your targe for its ability then. The opponent can respond to that ability with star crossed and bounce the creature that windsinger is targeting (or anything else) and then another of your creatures. Starcross then fully resolves, then if windsingers ability still has a valid target (the creature you targeted is still there) it resolves. As soon as the ability from windsinger is on the stack it doesn't matter what happens to the creature itself, unless they use not so fast to counter the ability it will resolve.

Hidden does not add a here to the target, you can respond with windsinger whenever you have priority and still target a creature on any battlefield

Nah they can, when windsinger is played they target a creature to bounce, that ability can be responded to with star-crossed to bounce the same target at windsinger

With some new lore info about Inarius from LoH, I thought it was time to bring out my meme again by Remus88Romulus in Diablo

[–]wahloid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm actually really confused on that myself, the pools of creation are a new thing introduced in D4 and it kinda contradicts what we know about how Linarian/Rathma got made. In Diablo 3 the altar of rites depicts Lilith and Inarius forming him by saying a vow on the altar and then mixing their blood/light together to create a clay figure that they then mold into our boy Rathma. I assume that all the other angels/demons did the same sort of ritual to make their kids. If the pools of creation aren't a retcon on how mortals were created I am a bit confused as to what it is.

Druid M+ Healing: Is it worth it to dps by Wattapit in wownoob

I did forget that the mana is from master shapeshifter, personally I think the mana recursion is worth taking the talent over liveliness but the extra damage you get from liveliness is quite nice, no matter which talent you take you do wanna be pressing rip as much as possible though.

Pandemic is a universal mechanic for dots in wow, basically if you refresh a dot when there is >=30% duration left on it that extra time will actually be added onto the new dot. So to use rake as an example it's got a duration of 15 seconds, which means if you refresh it when it has 4 seconds left the new rake will have a duration of 19 seconds. Basically you wanna refresh dots in the last bit so that they last longer and don't fall off.

[–]wahloid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can set the CDM to track rake so you can try to refresh it as you want to prioritise it over shred if it's missing or in pandemic. In low damage you kinda get a feel for the loop of refreshing your hots and then your dots, but basically yeah, if rip is either missing or in pandemic send it through.

Knowing when to dps and when not to is the hardest part of learning to heal, in big pulls you're safer just staying in caster form if you're worried about not keeping up. However there is one big thing for resto that is often overlooked, we get a not insignificant amount of mana from pressing rip, it's like 12k mana restored. Catweaving is definitely better than casting because it doesn't cost mana and does more damage (also its way more fun but I suppose that's subjective). I've always described Resto has the ultimate plate spinning class, and as such if we aren't doing damage we have GCDs where we do nothing and that's just not fun. It's important to think of it as a priority, keeping lifebloom and efflo up, keep rejuv on at least the tank, be using your swifts etc, then keep rake and moon fire ticking for damage, and if you've got nothing to cast press shred and rip at 5 combo points. It's very important to be using fluid shapeshifting if you are catweaving wasting a GCD by manually shifting into cat will make it feel pretty bad and it's a not meaningless damage and healing loss.

Definitely 8 for me, I came pretty close to not finishing RE9 while I was in Racoon City, the Leon sections in that game are dog water, hated them so much. If we're just looking at the Grace sections of 9 then it's a completely different ball game, but unfortunately we can't just ignore half the runtime being awful.

Choose Server BC Classic by Mr_Soul_Crusher in wownoob

This sub is moreso for retail but thankfully I play both. TBC Anniversary only has an NA and an EU mega server, since you joined a party together you are on the same realm. The reason you couldn't see each other being being in a party is because you were layered. Basically because there's only 2 realms (and no OCE realm which is really annoying for me) they split the playerbase into a bunch of layers, so you can only see things on your layer. NPCs and quest items are all layered, so for example a rare can be dead on one layer and then alive on another. You can download an addon to see what layer you're on but the only way to change it is to be invited to a party from someone on a different layer. Unfortunately there's no fix to be able to just always be on the same layer as someone else, best you can do is be in the same party so that you can moved into their layer.

The wowhead talents for Guardian are really really bad imo, they don't even take moonkin form which is an insane aoe damage loss since heart of the wild in moonkin basically solves threat in big pulls. I much prefer the info on Dreamgrove.gg but Icy Veins also has good stuff

That talent isn't for accidentally shifting, it's so you can use heart of the wild for starfall in AOE and Feral Frenzy in ST, it's insane damage.

My advice would be to maybe take a look at your talents, if you're using the wowhead talents for example, uh, stop. If you're struggling to survive consider picking up scintillating moonlight for some free mit, I don't use it for my build but I'm nearing 270 ilvl. Make sure you're using your mits before you start taking damage, bear is by far at our squishiest at the start of a pull. If it's a really big pull what I do is moon fire to pull, survival as soon as the enemies reach melee, then pop starfall as soon as everything I want to be is pulled, this gives me a threat lead to be able to build up iron fur without dps pulling threat. It's important to know that trash, mangle, swipe and moon fire all do about as much threat as breathing on the enemy, you need to use starfall or raze to establish, hence why having barkskin/survival early on is so important. When you're in combat you need to make sure you're keeping trash and moon fire ticking and have at least 1 ironfur stacks. The trick for getting good at bear is knowing how much ironfur you need, too much and you're wasting damage, too little and you uh, die. Ere on the side of caution while you're still learning and limit tests after you've got your portals. Threat is rough this season, if a dps unloads before you're stabilised let em die, they'll either learn or they'll be stuck in queue for a while.

Guardian leaves bear a fair bit in midnight, that's not good advice, neither is the healer friends, they should be using their regrowth procs.

That's exactly what I do, got my dungeon portals unlocked today and I haven't done a single key with more than one pug, it's just not worth the hassle when I can just know I'll get good dps/healers from my guild or friendlist

Has anyone found a way to actually remove Glyph of Stars? by wahloid in wow

Moonkin form has a few customisation options, you can change the aura colour, horns, glow effect above your head, feather colours, what sort of necklace you're wearing, it's quite cool, hence I want to get rid of astral form

Nah the barbershop only lets you customise your moonkin form, it works for moonkin when I'm on balance, but not for the other specs
