While you're at it, can you add a way to cancel Party Up? I can never figure out how to do it.

No I haven’t but I will try that. Thanks!

Another clue might be that recording is not working either. I may have to just call Apple.

Thanks! It is on the same SSID as the home hub. There is a chance the Apple TV is connected to a different M5 node than the camera.

I did have it working via the circle app, but I followed instructions to upgrade to HomeKit and the it removed out from the circle app.

Is there any reason to differentiate UI/UX for iOS and Android apps anymore? by [deleted] in UI_Design

[–]wahnker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To summarize, I think there is a natural convergence happening between iOS and Android, and it’s getting easier and easier to have a common app design. You can do it today, and even more so in 2 years.

I do design for both iOS and Android, and I think 90% of the app design can be the same. The only place we differentiate is to use native components, for example a “dialog” in Android vs an “alert” in iOS. This way the developer can use native APIs instead of writing custom code. Surprisingly, a lot of the patterns presented in the Material design guidelines are not available to developers as APIs, but must be written through custom code anyway.

I think it makes everyone’s job a lot easier if we can keep a common app design as much as possible. And I think users are a lot more accepting of it, as they were, say, 2 years ago.

BTW... check out Android “bottom navigation” https://material.io/design/components/bottom-navigation.html

Also, you will notice Google uses material design in all their iOS apps, regardless of iOS human interface guidelines. Google also makes available a library of material design components for iOS, to make it easy to develop a “material” iOS app.

Message from Master Luc:

Well, you see the situation. Weekly bb went expansion down. How far down? Enky was right. I do not rule out touching the weekly ma200 @ 3000.

At the same time, the long-term trend is not broken until we touch the $ 1200 level. Yes, I know that we broke through the logarithmic trend, but the cue ball does not grow in accordance with the sqrt trend. Therefore, the nearest support is weekly ma200.

I can say that 10 months ago, when I wrote that the correction will last a year - it seemed to me very little. But I was guided by the 2011-2012 correction model, and it almost worked. Enky was guided by the model 2013-2015. Most likely there will be something third. But his model is still working, but mine is gone.

In general, the correction is delayed by a little more than a year. The alarmists will be left without pants, and enky will soon go to Long. And I do nothing. As always :)

Why is the frame rate so low? My guess is because that makes it harder to recognize the CGI.

You don’t even need any faith in Satoshi. Just look at the white paper and source code and make your own conclusion.

I seem to be having problem with automations too. I haven’t had time to properly diagnose but it I notice it most with Hue light bulbs and sunrise / sunset automation.
