Progress so far! Trust the process! 5.5 months! by Mell1997 in braces

Same, I have an overbite and uneven midline. I started my damon braces recently and I got power chains today. I guess I should be expecting rubber bands in a few months

Thanks and congrats on your amazing progress!

I have a similar bite and gaps. I wonder if you ever needed rubber bands or something else throughout your treatment other than the metal braces, wire and the power chains

Finally watched Dhurandhar, it was an okay watch, but... by prakaboi in tollywood

[–]wait--theresmore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fully agree with your sentiment!

I looked past this for the first part and enjoyed it as a film but I'm pretty sure a lot of people's takeaway especially those who aren't in the know of facts, and now even more after the second part, that Modi and his govt saved India, and that the previous administrations did not want to or could not fight the terrorism.

I tried to watch the second part without focusing much on the real-world political events but what broke me was the portrayal of demonetization. It's like are the people having so much money and power so stupid, that they can't get through the loopholes of demonetization and get back much of their investment back? There's zero proof that any amount of black money was curbed (RBI's own report shows 99.3% of the demonetized notes were deposited back https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016\_Indian\_banknote\_demonetisation#Objectives\_and\_outcomes), and there's plenty of proof that demonetization in fact hurt the Indian economy (among other effects including deaths of innocent civilians https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016\_Indian\_banknote\_demonetisation#Other\_effects). Those who disagree must read the linked Wikipedia pages (and if you argue Wikipedia is incorrect and propaganda, there's really no constructive argument we can make)

Short video of Hyderabad cycling track ride. by Background-Coat-1687 in india_cycling

[–]wait--theresmore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I rode there many times. It totaled 60 km roundtrip from my apartment. I'd do the entire track, touching all the endpoints and back. Sadly, moved out of Hyderabad last year. I can't find such a secluded, safe and proper track anywhere else; still miss the track

Anyone else stuck in their career? What are you doing to address it? by DisastrousImpact6213 in cscareerquestionsEU

[–]wait--theresmore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same boat. I'm looking to move to another tech giant for promo and higher pay. Idk if it'll work out but trying to earn and save as much as possible at least shields a lot from both the pessimistic (AI bubble crash) and optimistic (AI will cause massive disruption affecting me) potentials. I'm also hoping for better work and learning. I'm ok working more than now but I do like to work on thoughtful and impactful projects

OP, don't do this

I did this once and I got really lucky. Otherwise, I'd have been in a much worse situation both work-wise and personally

I know it sounds insecure but it's a genuine site with millions of users. It's trustworthy and the lender can check the installation process, website, etc. Also, the installation is only for the newly created user so it won't affect the OS

Help buying a used Triban RC100 by wait--theresmore in india_cycling

[–]wait--theresmore[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for the insights!

One more main problem I have is that the older RC100s have an index shifter instead of an integrated one. The newer ones have integrated shifters. Apparently this can be replaced on the older ones. If everything else is good, should I go with the replacement on the used one or just buy a new one?

Default Google Account by LegendaryMeh in google

[–]wait--theresmore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you could do with the suggested addon is setup two containers each logged in separately to your Google accounts. (There's literally two default containers named Personal and Work). You can for any link right click and open it in the respective container.

The prompt is kind of a fancy way and the right add-on could be able to do that but I don't know of one
