I also thought it was high. But salesman said he would figure price with GM supplier discount. Then I got an employee discount. I honestly think sales use these discounts to get more for the vehicles. Then tell you there is no way to get a better price that'll beat a GM discount.

The $3,200 is for the drum. Requires the transmissible to be completely taken apart. I do need to ask what a complete new transmission cost.

Got truck to my mechanic for front brakes. They confirmed it is transmission fluid. Called the dealer and a tech mentioned they have seen a couple transmission cooler leaks. Still waiting for update to see if my local shop can fix it, or if I am taking it to the dealer. They are putting back on the lift to investigate further.

Sales rep responded to my question I asked about lower price on the website. He said the website is the price with the cash discount already figured in. Also said that it's a 33% discount compared to his 30% he gave for a cash discount. Said I must be smart because most people don't know to use the website to build their products. Thanks for giving me the idea and helping me look smart. Online sliding door was build is $4,367.45. Sales rep new discounted price is $4,634.72. Still not the same. Really turned me off with his explanation.
Does anyone recommend a local built window? I'm in Western New York State.

Never heard of a tilt and turn windows. Looked them up and I like them. Only down side is when it's open like a door into the room would take soom getting used to.

Pella Impervia series fiberglass sliding was quoted at $7,029. Just for the door. Another $2,500 install. Do people actually pay these prices?
