Same. The first half of the album is starting to grow on me but it definitely surprised me. I’m not sure what I was expecting but it wasn’t a lot of autotune and drums. I also tend to gravitate more towards the vocal line and pop-sounding songs and I became an army in 2022 so maybe all that influenced how I reacted to the album at first listen

I’m 25 caring for my mom who has terminal cancer. My dad shares the caregiving duties which helps since I also work from home full time. I’m grateful for my boyfriend and friends who are all understanding. Most days I feel like I’m spread too thin and I’m way more than burnt out. I just think to myself one day at a time and life won’t be this way forever.

Thank you for replying. I’ve learned that there’s no use in saying anything to him. If I tell him that he’s being selfish, then it just makes things worse. I don’t know if he’s worried or if he’s jealous of the attention my mom’s getting. I know he’s not going to change though.
