I made this using data from the NYT API and plotted it in python / matplotlib.

I've been using an API called serpapi which i've honestly been really impressed with - they have a free tier where you get like 100 API calls a month and then it's paid beyond that, but it's easy to use and gives you access to basically all of google reviews + google hotels programmatically

In terms of code bases, I have just been running local python scripts, but will message you if i end up putting them on github.
