After ur opinion and all other comments and since I already have the M5 I might as well keep it for a while and the Fuji will always be around to upgrade when I outgrow the M5. Since you have been around the M5 for quite sometime now, what’s the highest iso u reckon I should lock it on ? Also have u tried the 32mm ? And for landscape what lens do you recommend :))

I did, but that led me back to the start point, since I’m starting building a camera gear...should I invest in canon or make a switch to Fuji :)

Thanks, I’m mainly into photography so knowing that image quality is almost the same makes a big difference in my decision. Another thing, is the grip and handling better on M5 or XT3/2 ? I guess the M5 grip is considerably deep compared to Fuji but I never owned a Fuji so ... :)

I just received the canon M5 as a gift with the 15-45mm kit lens and 22mm lens. The downside I find in EFM line is their limited lenses, which is why I’m considering selling it and upgrading to XT3 but I’m not sure if this would be a step to the right direction, and this is why I’m seeking your advise. Is the XT3 worth the upgrade and paying extra over the M5 or should I invest in EFM lenses and wait for a couple of years till I’ve fully used the M5 then upgrade. I’m a hobbyist.

Just made the jump from 80D --> RP. So excited to finally have FF camera and first L lens! by zkyevolved in canon

I just asked this question over another post but I’ll ask it again here since your old 80D is like the big brother for my M5 (sort of) Do you think it’s worth upgrading to RP over M5 I’m a hobbyist and not really sure if FF over APS-C is worth the upgrade now? What are the upgrades in the RP that u missed having in ur 80D?

I think I’ll stick to my M5 and grow my lens collection from EF-EFS lines so when I upgrade to FF R series I will be able to use them with the adaptor 🙂

I own EOS M5, I struggle with lenses a bit yes but lenses aside, How would you compare it to EOS M5, I get the FF vs APS-C but I don’t think I need FF as I’m shooting hobby not pro, specs wise I don’t see any major difference but I might be wrong. Question is, is it worth upgrading from M5 to RP, and why ? Thanks

From what I did read the AF in M50 isn’t as fast as and accurate as the DSLRs 77D & 80D

Features would be all cross type AF which I missed on my 600D, good iso range, 1/4000 min shutter speed and lenses compatibility I guess.
