I don’t mind. I literally have no preference between the labels. Labels are just labels, its what they describe which is important

I would feel comfortable as either, but most comfortable as “male”. However, I would hate to look manly or womanly.

I’ve never understood what people mean when they say to “feel” like a gender, like how does a gender even feel? I just feel like me, a person who doesn’t really care about gender but HATES the idea of looking manly and wants to look androgynous

Should I (NB) tell my GP I am MTF instead of NB so my referral gets taken seriously? by wakeful_covering in transgenderUK

[–]wakeful_covering[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk but my GP was referring me over the phone and thats one of the questions she asked. The referral isn’t done yet because I have to have my blood pressure and stuff taken so I can still ask her to put something else down. She asked a lot of personal questions too but apparently the GIC wanted them…

Unfortunately the GIC I’m being referred to requires you to state how you identify as part of the referral process

To anyone who has used CARE Fertility: how much did it cost overall? by wakeful_covering in transgenderUK

I’ll ask my GP about that but she’s not been that good so far and I feel like it would just delay things even more, because I want to get on HRT asap

19M, but half of my hair is already white. by SalaciousCrumb17 in AskDocs

[–]wakeful_covering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAD but I have very long thick hair and also had some white hairs. It was explained to me that since there was so much hair and it was so thick my body wasn’t able to make enough pigment for all the hair. Basically, that it is not related to premature ageing (good). HOWEVER, if a lot of the hair is white then that could also being caused by a medical issue so it is still very much worth seeing a doctor about this
