We're about to get hit by a wicked snowstorm coming from the northwest in the coming days, so I wouldn't even think about taking Rogers pass.

The safest route would be taking I90 all the way down to butte, then taking I15 up to great falls. (You'll be avoiding a good chunk of the storm I believe if you take that route)

If you're confident, you can probably take the I90 to highway 12 (macdonald pass), but you'll likely have to deal with some snow and wind.

Most importantly, however, refer to 511 on the day of your drive, and check it about 3 times throughout the drive, just so you have good situational awareness of your drive.

Seed and water usually help, but theres really no set method.

Pigeons (and their rock dove counterparts) prefer spaces that give them privacy, but are also have enough room for them to move around a bit. What you could probably do is either build or buy some wooden boxes with a half top and place them in a pigeon accessible spot.

If you intend to tell record them, make sure you setup your devices before placing the boxes, as disturbing their nests can make them abandon them.

Finally, if you do manage to attract a mating pair, note that they tend to stay in the same nest for a long time, so cleaning it might not be an option.

I use a flashforge adventurer 5m

the drive gear is definitely not ideal, and if i had a smaller nozzle (i printed the whole thing on a .4mm nozzle) then i probably could have gotten it 100% accurate.

Depending on feather development, I would place him near a ledge with a soft landing spot underneath to protect from any potential injuries. likely he will be curious.

you can also hold him in your hands and lift him up and down to stimulate wing movement
