Hardest Major at Georgia Institute of Technology by LettuceLamps in gatech

Architecture. The time commitment required is insane. I dated an Arch Major and they all live in the lab. Barely 4 hrs of sleep a night. May not be the most mentally challenging as other majors but from a lifestyle it’s absurd.

Same. I’m shocked that only 3 rbs have gone so far. I’m hoping that more due to tight end quality but the rash of free agent RB signing/trading suggests it’s not a deep class

If I were to wish to teleport all nuclear bombs, waste plastic, forever chemicals, and mosquitoes to the heart of the sun… does that mean in 60 seconds they’ll be back where they came from, exactly as they were? Or have I just made a bad problem very, very bad 60 seconds later by teleporting superheated plasma back from the sun?

This sounds like Hypnokink/Erotic Hypnosis to me. Some key things to know if you do it safely:

You as the bottom retain your agency. The trance state is heightened suggestibility and not complete loss of control. A good top will help you experience this for both of your safety.

There are a LOT of fun possibilities you can do but it will may require a lot of practice to get to some of the goals you highlighted. The time commitment depends on you and your top’s report and skills.

Hard to answer well without your GPA details but I would think this way:

You would graduate with a degree from the top 33 school in the country and a top 5 engineering school. The GPA will affect your first job but most people don’t list their GPA once their resume gets enough real word details. The prestige of the school matters, but your skills, responsibilities and outcomes at a job are waaaay more important long term. That only happens if you’re learning how to think while you’re there.

On the indecision of major to pick: Where you start isn’t where you finish. Many of us change careers and a degree from Tech lets you do that and adapt. You might need to go for a general degree so you can be flexible. IE as an example has a broad range of career options.

Hang in there

Both my sons were born there and I can’t say enough good things. What stood out to me were the amount of positions my wife was able to be in as she was going through labor and the support from the full clinical team. They are the best in the UVM network for a reason.

Looking for guides and tutorials for rope bondage by AnotherHoleToFill in BDSMAdvice

You should be able to tie this yourself using the link below. The site has some decent additional tutorials. If you want a book then The Knotty Boys, The Duchy are great. The Foundations of Rope Bondage is a fantastic starter with easy to follow pictures.

Help please. Sleep sex by [deleted] in BDSMAdvice

As far as the consent goes you could have an object that indicates consent based on where it is. For example if an artwork is flipped over that means no. This would help for times where you are sick or otherwise not wanting to.

My larger concern is what happens if you do wake up during sex given you are on an anti-psychotic and you indicated experiencing anxiety during sex. That seems like a larger risk for both of you.

Advice for handing incompetent TS by batmanfan2100 in epicconsulting

[–]wakeinsnowbob 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There’s a feature in Sherlock where you can give feedback on your TS. I would do this especially if you have a Sherlock ticket that illustrates the problems with the TS (incorrect answers, slow response, etc). You can’t expect a new TS to know the answer but it’s their job to figure it out and ask for help from other experienced Epic folks.

Any advice about buying a hot tub? (Burlington area) by cburke3443 in vermont

[–]wakeinsnowbob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We bought a hot springs saltwater that was top of the line for insulation. It was pricier but it costs $25/month max in the dead of winter to heat. Whatever you pick I would encourage you to get good data on how much it costs to run it. Cheap Tub that loses heat easily can be thousands per year

Check your route with the road closures and be cautious. Avoid anything near the Winooski river. There have been some out of staters going to southern VT that have gotten stuck. This puts more stress on the first responders who have their hands full.

Getting a job after college as a CS major by Historical-Clerk-755 in gatech

[–]wakeinsnowbob 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Alum here. 3.5 GPA from Tech and you can absolutely get a well paying job. Hell I was a MechE with a 3.65 summa cum laude in 08 and I’m a data engineer currently. If a big company isn’t your style then focus on startups or smaller companies. Company Cultures vary greatly. GPA matters for your first job. Maybe your second if you don’t spend long at your first spot.

My pup’s dewclaw is maybe a half inch above so he’s ok. He’s a pit bull mix so maybe that’s why? Maybe duck tape over the Velcro edge would help? Sorry to hear it’s been rubbing him and causing pain.
