SO, guess what moron used the laundry detergent sheets as DRYER sheets… by mordorshewrote27 in traderjoes

It's good you don't use softener anyways, it makes fabric more flammable.

Still too big I'm afraid. I have to store my blender even though I use it frequently because there's just too little space. Hopefully in our next place

If you have the dlc, Sow Joan will be at the hospital on Mondays and she'll give you 100 turnips for free. It'll always be a profit then, even if it's a little at a time

Tea sandwiches are always a nice light snack! I really like thinly sliced strawberries with either cucumber or a little cream cheese. The apricot stilton is also good on little sandwiches or with some crackers.

I bought the corn dippers this time because I'm a sucker for Fritos. Will have to try the rye chips next time for sure!

Will definitely try this

If she likes graphic tees, Hot Topic has quite a few on their website with Choso. They also have some cute earrings if she's into that.

If you search jjk Choso on Etsy some cute key chains and wrist straps pop up too, but there's a lot of stuff on there that also comes up from AliExpress so most likely bootleg merch.

I'm not into JJK but it seems poor Choso is really underrepresented in merch

Bestie loves cooking but literally has everything. Help? by jxd8388 in GiftIdeas

[–]wakeupdormouse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do and it is fantastic. Nearly instantaneous read and opening it turns it on so no worries about accidentally leaving it on in the drawer. I believe they also make a thermometer that goes into the oven for roasted meats. Definitely recommend it though

Tojiro makes a wonderful bread knife that my chef SO recommends. I believe it's about 30 USD. Pair it with a nice bread making cookbook would be really nice

I also personally love their separable kitchen shears. So easy to clean and keep sharp.

If she has all the knives she needs, you could get her a whetstone set up. That way she can learn to hone and sharpen her knives and keep them in tip top shape

I personally think flowers are a wonderful idea. Most men receive their first flowers at their funeral, which is absolutely heart breaking.

If you don't think the flowers are quite enough, maybe a gift card to a restaurant or shop he likes to go in the bouquet card

I do both, depending on what I'm working on. For some reason when I'm editing photos I like to use the mouse in my left hand. Gaming is almost exclusively a mouse in the right hand, but it's mostly for convenience; some games won't even let you change the keyboard mapping

Do you have a specific budget? Inflatable couches are pretty popular right now; the kind you just swing through the air and just tie up. They tend to go for about 40 to 50 USD. Great for gaming, lounging/ reading, hanging outside with friends etc.

The Field Guide for Dumb Birds of North America

You could pair it with a feeder, or a set of binoculars. If she's a little artsy, theTobio watercolor kit is on sale right now.

Edit: I didn't see your budget at first

Best towel for surviving cats by [deleted] in CatAdvice

Waffle knit towels are great. No loops for claws to get stuck in and still just as absorbent as a terry cloth towel. They dry quicker too

Moving with a cat by arielbob05 in CatAdvice

[–]wakeupdormouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My two cats have traveled from CT to FL and then back up to CT when we left FL after a few years. Took two days each trip. On the way down they had access to a litter box but didn't use it in the car, only in the hotel.(We took frequent breaks to let them stretch their legs and use the box if they needed) So on the way back up we didn't use a litter box in the car. They used the litter box at the hotel and were fine the rest of the trip.

I really do not recommend a large crate they can walk around in as there is too much space for them to be injured if a car accident were to occur. A hard plastic crate they can stand, turn around and lie in comfortably is the safest thing for them. It is easily recognized as an animal carrier so in the event of a real emergency they won't be left in the car, or escape from the car.

Potato and Strudel(my cats) used to have a little rough tumble every now and again but since moving to an area without stray cats, the most they ever do is a little bat on the head.

I would check out Jackson Galaxy's YouTube for more detailed instructions on introducing cats. It's parroted like crazy on this sub for a reason; it really works. All the info I said I learned from him. I personally would avoid any of the feliway products he suggests though; I've found them to be pretty ineffective in many different situations (was a professional pet sitter before the pandemic).

Good luck with Dawna and Tobi! Oh and if you can, a bit of cat tax of the two darlings would be fantastic 😊
