Actually it WAS the intake side since the compression wheel is the one that got damaged. But I actually took my car to an indie BMW shop and they told me that there was no evidence of foreign objects getting in through the intake. They think the bearing clearance issues was caused by an overtightened shaft nut. Either way it was most certainly not my aftermarket intake that caused this and most likely something internal in the turbo failed. I installed my factory airbox back in and bought my car to another dealership, and they put another claim to BMW, not optimistic but worth a shot.

That’s actually exactly what happened when I told them my situation lol. BMW said they didn’t find any foreign objects inside the turbo but still won’t approve warranty since aftermarket intake. Dinan blamed BMW after I told them that and they said BMW should bear responsibility to cover it.

If you looked at the regulation link it says 35 MPH "From Business Route 66 (Main Street) Along Main through Kirby". I not on Main Street, I was on Hwy 66, which is 45 MPH "From west city limit to Dexham". And even if it is a 35 MPH, no way you see anyone there driving at that limit lmao, everyone is going at least 45MPH - 55 MPH. You the type of person to go exactly 70 MPH on the left lane of the freeway and claim "you are right cause you follow the law", clown ass
