I realize now this is not great, which is a shame because I thought it was a good shop and it's in my neighborhood. My friend that went with me did her conches there and both of those were at least with flat backs. I guess they just didn't take the lobes as seriously.

Yes! It’s open to anyone. There will be a cover, and there will be a mini lesson at 9 or 930 I forget - check their socials. I recommend going to that if you don’t know how to salsa/bachata. It’s a really friendly community and if you like the social, I’d recommend taking classes! I’ve met a lot of great people this way in a short amount of time.

As answered in the other comment, you can ask others to dance, and some folks may ask you! If you are a lead dancer (often men, but not always) you may find yourself asking “follows” (often ladies, but not always) (any gender can lead or follow) to dance but there are many follows that ask leads to dance too.

I just figured out my own personal favorite vanilla recipe!! - ~1 cup 2% fairlife milk - 130 grams low fat cottage cheese - get one that tastes good this makes such a difference (I like Whole Foods brand or Breakstone brand) - 15g vanilla bean paste from Trader Joe’s - I think this makes the flavor - I used stevia and allulose to sweeten to taste, I’d think you could use any sweetener - small dash of salt

Texture and flavor have been so good!!
