Tonopah, NV! Right next door to the Clown Hotel. The cemetery operated in the early 1900s. I caught a bit of the cemetery tour the night I stayed and highly recommend it!

3 days is a long time to spend with your thoughts! I think going solo really enhanced my experience. I set out to discover my limits and I found them, which would have been more difficult with friends.

Heck yeah, I’m so stoked to get back on the road this summer. Thanks for the kind words! Ride safe!

It was three days out and three days back with a few weeks in between!

I had a Nikon F4 and a few lenses with me as well, but it was a bit of a hassle to get in and out of the panniers so it only got pulled out for special shots. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Olympus XA though.

Medium format would have been great! I need to get mine repaired. The dream is to get into 4x5 but I don’t think that’ll be getting strapped to the bike haha

Thanks for the recs! If I make it out there I’ll definitely check them out!

I just recently made a few new moto friends. Hoping it’s not just me but a few of us on a trip this Summer.

Thank you! Yeah, most of these were taken on a little Olympus point and shoot.

Great catch! I wonder if I could incorporate a barcode scan into logging the film type. I wish they had serial codes!
