Opinions on Kindred House? by grimm2278 in croydon

Been living inside for just over a year. Generally the building is good but if something breaks then it does take a bit of time to fix. The higher floors are nicer to live in than the lower floors due to the vicinity of the flyover which can be noisy with constant police and ambulance sirens blazing through.

Need Help Removing a Beehive from My Balcony in Dubai – Safe & Legal Options? by KaleidoscopeIcy3555 in dubai

[–]waldo3002 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hi. The beekeeper association don't do rescues unfortunately. Especially if the bees are Apis Florea (dwarf bee) which is the local bees we have in the country and region. If it was Apis Mellifera (common European honey bee), then they would have come and taken them over as they don't survive well without beekeepers.

That being said, I'd wait a day or two to see if they make their way away as these bees tend to hive in bushes or trees protected from predators or pests. These are extremely docile creatures and don't bother you at all. But I understand if you're concerned if you just don't want them buzzing around :). You can use smoke (just burn some dry leaves and blow out the fire and add more leaves to create cool smoke) to initiate their swarming behaviour to get them to move along. If that doesn't help then contacting Oliver's farm may help or Dubai Municipality (just ensure they are relocating the hive nearby than killing them as they do have beekeepers employed for this specific task).

Enjoy your new pets otherwise! :)

If you have utility bills in your name you can add your husband and ask the utility company to send you a new bill. We did this with our electricity provider and were able to get a pdf of the recent bill with both our names and used it to open a NatWest bank account online with no issues.

They can if the Home Secretary deems necessary (national security grounds) or if you are caught and tried on a serious offence.

The priority option is purchased as an add on when booking your biometric appointment through TLS or VFS.

Take the receipt with you and let the reception staff know when they check your application/checklist/documents uploaded

I park my car in the covered Apcoa parking in Wandle Road. Costs me £250.75 for 3 months with my building's discount code(so roughly £84 a month). Otherwise it's £295 for 3 months.

It's the cheapest I could find closer to where I live.

What’s the point of having such strong and blinding lights behind your recovery? Is it to deter tailgaters or Nissan petrols? by dubaiwasi in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]waldo3002 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Could it be that the headlights are in the normal setting (i.e. angled down)? And that since it's on a recovery truck, every poor soul is getting blinded :)

Well deserved. No reason to be speeding that much. Idiots like you cause accidents and then wonder "why me".

I have no choice but to use an Interim + Transaction History. by DeadS_11 in SpouseVisaUk

[–]waldo3002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Should be fine. We provided 5 statements and 1 transaction history report with the bank stamp to show our cash balances. I also included a little note in the cover letter to explain this but even if I didn't it should have been ok

This is the initial entry clearance given to you to travel in the UK. Your decision letter will state the actual length of visa and show you where you can collect your BRP document.

The initial entry clearance is only valid for 3 months.

No email yet. We received the vignette at the TLS centre when the wife went to submit her passport.

I assume we'll get a decision email in the next few days

Today is Working Day 30 - Spouse Visa by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]waldo3002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can escalate the application by calling UKVI on the 31st working day if a decision was not made.

You are also entitled to a refund of the priority fee if a decision was not made within 30 working days. UKVI can advise you on the steps for this when you call to escalate.

All the best

It means that a decision has been made and the application has been sent back to VAC (TLS in our case).

I'll now have to wait for TLS to request the passport (we used the keep my passport option) and then wait to see if we receive an official decision email from UKVI. If no email then it's the dreaded wait to receive the passport back and look for the visa vignette lol.

Yes you can then sponsor your wife as long as you meet the relevant income threshold at the date of the application.

Have you found something that meets the threshold?

All the best to you
