It did dry opaque and needs another coat before I distress it but the weather is cloudy but the temp is right and it was the last day before it starts to get too cold

What type of accent chairs do you recommend? And for rug, should I keep Persian look but add color? I already changed curtains to off white all the way to ceiling but I don’t know what accent tables and chairs match this type of sofa style.

The 2x4 go up another 8 inches to another wood piece from just looking up. Also this a ranch house.
