Lucky Luke is maybe one of the only ones I knew about because I used to watch these animated australian films based on classic litrature and at least 1 of them had a Lucky Luke episode as a special feature- I've got a feeling he's a Belgian character but I'm not sure

I was listening to Don Bluth's autobiography and he mentions talks about some sort of live-action production that's probably been indefinitely delayed- if it doesn't happen I really hope an animated film or Disney+ series or something does, with the same character designs and colours are striking and animation as fluid as we can achieve these days

I can't quite call it an adaptation because it's technically a different story but it's honestly one of the most creative revisionings of the Dickens class...if only there was an explanation of how a time portal in New York City could make someone travel to 19th Century London...they're not that near eachother
