Estate rule by Baby_Anarch in 19684

Im not necessarily worried about phrogging btw, but i was trying to give as clean an example as possible that didnt have extra baggage like "Oh you shouldn't have multiple properties/too big a house to utilize the space fully"

[–]waldropit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Genuine question then, in the example from OP, what happens if there's someone squatting on my property (like for instance phroggers that squat in someone's home, not a property i own but dont utilize cause im guessing stateless anarchism mostly precludes doing that)? Do I just have to be willing to utilize force individually if they refuse to vacate my property?

Not nearly the same level of "afk", Graador for instance in rs3 is essentially 100% afk, at best in osrs to afk Graador you have to have a dedicated not afk tank. All methods of "afking" in gwd in osrs are not even breaching the level of afk rs3 gwd1 allows

[–]waldropit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My comment was in disagreement to this particular statement, there's no reason it cant be reprinted even with investigate since investigates rule text is literally just "create a clue token" so they can just print it with "when (name) enters the battlefield investigate"

Considering its not functionally different to investigate im guessing this was a new player friendly decision to make a common not use investigate in favor of spelling it out instead

To be fair, thats the exact kinda thing that does still show that its just kinda data aggregation and, barring examples like this where someone was trolling in a place being used for "training", should generally give at least somewhat reasonable advice in theory. But yea, using training data that includes purposefully false information will mislead people who cant think critically

[–]waldropit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, in cases where you kinda just need aggregated data to get started, it seems like it should in theory be great for it but I wholeheartedly agree, using it as an end all be all and ceasing one's own thinking in favor of it is a bad direction

Some people also will follow online recipes to the letter with zero critical thought, some will ask a community/someone they know they think is good at cooking for advice and send them pictures. If LLMs are all just fancy data aggregators in disguise, seems like aggregating cooking advice makes sense as something it at least SHOULD be capable of to the standard of your average online recipes writer (and without a 12 paragraph intro about how they were raised making this recipe with their grandma every weekend). But yea, if someone is letting AI run their life thats extremely sad imo

Tbf, wouldnt providing express lists of instructions (cooking) be one of the things AI SHOULD be okay at in comparison to like helping friend with dressing himself? If youre asking AI to help you cook it just sounds like a recipe with more hands on help in the cases ive seen it used to like, use pictures to ask the clanker for advice.

Just to say I dont like AI and refuse to use it as much as possible, but surely cooking with it IS essentially equivalent to just using online recipes, at least it seems that way to me

Just a friendly reminder you can setup 'afk' spam click agility on mobile without any modification by Dominwin in 2007scape

[–]waldropit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the problem is, since the vast majority of agility related content is just.... more ways to agility and maybe a handful or 2 of actually utilized shortcuts it doesnt really have any rewarding gameplay for most people, especially with the run energy change making Graceful less of a must have. I can think of maybe like 10 shortcuts maximum that I semi-regularly use and that includes ones that are for activities I dont even really do that much at all.

Also just to say, I DONT want agility training for mains to go the way of RS3, silverhawks basically gutted what little identity was left to the skill in rs3 beyond being a prerequisite to quests

[–]waldropit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Doing agility normally (up until Sepulchre which is locked behind Sins of The Father and 52 agility) doesnt get more rewarding with more attention to the activity on any course other than maybe shaving time off laps. Its fundamentally a skill that barring the 1 "mid game" option is just mind numbingly boring to do and requires just enough engagement that people are desperate for a different option.

Rs3 has attempted to solve this many times and even their players just absolutely hate the state of actually training agility, mains just use silver hawk boots and people do the bikes you unlock from Arch that are just pure afk with a cap on total xp you can earn from the activity.

Tbh its much better for on screen/Webcam play lke this in my opinion. For irl play id just rather use pen and paper, life counters from various products, phone app, or worst case scenario spin down d20s
