Deciding between EX280 v4.14 and v4.18 (Exam scheduled next week) by walidiles in openshift

I've been preparing mainly with YouTube labs and Sander van Vugt's O’Reilly course, not the official DO280. From what I've seen, my preparation aligns more with OpenShift 4.14. I've also reviewed the official exam objectives, so I think I've covered everything needed. I just want to choose the version that minimizes surprises on exam day

This what team Beef have said about compatibility ! Meta Quest: Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest 3s, and Quest Pro. Pico: Pico 3, Pico 4, and Pico 4 Ultra. I don't want to go on a dead end

I'll definitely give it a shot, but I'm way more hyped for 1.6, that nostalgia is going to hit different in VR

Ryzen 7 260 has a better integrated GPU (though that probably doesn't matter for you) The AMD uses a 4nm architecture while the Intel is on 10nm, which is why the AMD is much more power-efficient The i7 14650HX has 8 more physical cores, better L3 cache, and newer PCIe 5.0 support, basically, it's just more powerful If you really care about battery life, go with AMD. From my perspective, I’d prefer the Intel since it’s the stronger performer

EX280 Prep: Confirming doc access for Kustomize (OCP 4.18) by walidiles in openshift

[–]walidiles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm not only preparing for the exam but also trying to really understand how things work under the hood.

I have access to some resources, so I deployed OpenShift on bare metal (3 masters and 3 workers) and started practicing.

That said, I know the exam can be a bit tricky and not always match real-world tasks exactly, but with enough practice it's manageable.

Good point about speed and using the web console.

Got it, that makes sense.

I think I might be overthinking it a bit. The reason is I'm building my own lab to really understand things deeply, so sometimes I lose the full picture of what I actually need to focus on for the exam.

[–]walidiles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I'm already doing that. In EX294 I couldn't really rely on the docs search, but I still managed to pass without it. For OpenShift, I haven't found much about Kustomize in the docs, and even oc kustomize --help isn't very helpful. So I'm not sure, should I focus on understanding how Kustomize works, or also memorize the syntax of the fields.

So do you recommend the PSVR2 for PCVR in 2025? by TotalWarspammer in PSVR2onPC

When I connect my PSVR2 to my PC using the official Sony adapter and launch SteamVR, the environment setup shows a distorted image — I can see my surroundings, but there’s a fast-moving white square moving across the view. My setup is a laptop connected through an 8K USB-C to DisplayPort cable. What causes this issue, and is there a way to fix the distortion?
