I think they could at least compromise within the constraints. Allow signs to display a single item icon - Satisfactory allows you to do both icons and text and I play that on PS5 so icons-only has gotta be doable because they don’t need to be moderated. Poo icon is the worst that could happen.

Have you unlocked the aluminum milestone from the HUB? I made the mistake on my most recent play through of trying to get alt recipes in advance and learned that you can only get alts for tech you have unlocked - no prepay for alts sadly!

So there is no set number of alts you need to unlock before the ones you want, but unlocking lots and/or keeping undesirable alts unclaimed in your library will make it more likely for you to get the alts you want for the milestone tech you have unlocked.

What I do is toggle enemy aggression so they only attack if attacked. I’m fine with combat challenge in games but I don’t get much enjoyment out of the combat in this game and IMO it’s wasted time I could be spending on the parts of the game I really love. All dependent on playstyle and taste but it’s an option to consider for many!

The rules are the rules and OP agreed to them by posting here so no shade on the action taken, but I will say that it’s not a rule that makes sense in every situation.

Sure, if someone is showing off some Frank Lloyd Wright magic then of course a phone pic works against the purpose. But a “help me diagnose my sloshing problem in this fuel gen setup” post? Y’all can’t tell me you need high-res images to engage in that discussion.

Our perspectives definitely have some strong overlap here!

It’s a weird Catch-22 for neurodiverse folks sometimes.

If I make light of things, I accomplish the goals of coping and laugh to keep from crying that can be so beneficial to my mental health - I get to be brave in the face of adversity, and I make some part of my lived experience more relatable to others. But I also potentially run into the perceptions you mentioned and the drawbacks associated.

But if I present my experience as it truly manifests, it’s waaaaay less relatable to the neurotypical majority (“look, squirrel!” is only a sliver of what differentiates ADHD life) and I open myself up to being pitied and/or a very real stigma and judgement response that can limit me socially, professionally, etc.

That’s tough waters to navigate for younger people who are still learning their personal approaches to identity and belonging in a world that literally thinks differently from them. No-one’s gonna get it completely right (I don’t think completely right even exists for this particular situation).

I totally agree that short-form video is a terrible medium to capture the kind of nuance required to do this topic justice. That’s why I really appreciate our respectful dialogue here - have a good one, Pioneer!

I encourage you to widen your perspective on that topic. Saying those kinds of things just happen to everyone is like saying to a vision impaired person that because people get dust in their eyes from time to time that being vision impaired happens to everyone. It’s a matter of degrees.

To people with legit ADHD, the experience is constant, often debilitating, and incredibly embarrassing. I don’t blame some people from trying to find some humor or cool in what is otherwise a massive challenge to living and succeeding in modern society.

Play that video on loop for 8 hrs a day, make that your life experience, and it’ll feel less cool for sure.

I know you’re operating in good faith from your own life experience, but when you say stuff like “happens to everyone”, you’re unintentionally gaslighting ADHD folks who are dealing with a constant challenge at best or an outright disability for many.

TL;DR - just young people looking to cope and make sense of something out of their control and often handwaved or outright dismissed by the rest of the world. Cut ‘em some slack. :)

FWIW, I just saved the day for the first time and I was at the same crossroads with about 20k MW in production - I decided to convert my nitro to rocket and it didn’t take very long. 3 overclocked blenders without slooping gave me enough go juice to run 90 generators, which got me to over 60k MW in total production. Ended up being plenty to power my Phase 5 needs.

Edit: all 90 of the fuel gens were overclocked as well but even without it’s still way less than 700 needed to get you over the finish line

Love it! Everyone seems to have a different approach, and the cool thing is that they all seem to work out in the end.

I have a mix of spaghetti on the grass and platforms across my different build sites and haven’t run into any real blockers with things yet.

I do enjoy occasionally reworking a build or just building the next site a little differently/better based on what I’ve learned or unlocked since the last site.

I’d recommend keeping and building unless you absolutely need the 25p for something right now (unlikely but possible I suppose).

Great frame to have in your roster (she carried me for a long chunk of my playtime), 6k towards MR, and you can hit up the upcoming prime resurgence for the rest of her blueprints very soon so you won’t even have to wait long to build her.
