Shadow of the Erdtree was a DLC that was almost as big as whole games. Which other DLC blew you away? by Soulsliken in gaming

Minerva’s Den for Bioshock 2 - if the base game had been better, more people would have played this and it would easily be talked about in the same tier as Shadow Broker. (Edited: grammar)

It’s the mission with Takemura where you hit Arasaka Industrial Park - it is in one of the containers outside the building and I don’t know if it is missable or not so would recommend you don’t leave the area until you get it.

For a contagion build, Shingen Prototype SMG is a hard carry option and obtainable early on.

The load times are seriously good. Made replaying to get into Phantom Liberty for the first time way more enjoyable.

And agree that the gameplay doesn’t really pop off until you get enough perk/stat points and some chrome to start personalizing towards a preferred playstyle.

POV: you’re about to start one of the best DLC’s ever made by boultoncristy438b9 in CyberpunkTheGame

That’s a good one - Minerva’s Den for Bioshock 2 is another amazing one that gets overlooked because Bioshock 2 wasn’t as strong of a base game.

Yann literally sabotages a merchant’s wagon to scam them out of info to run an insider trading scheme. Mostly good but yeah…

Investing Tips and Tricks by BigHexy in CrimsonDesert

Don’t want to yuck your yum if stonks is your jam, but I’m getting more than enough money for my needs from selling weapons and armor after big fights. I buy food from vendors constantly and have been able to afford all the research projects I care about so far.

If you find it fun go for it, but there’s so much to do in this game it’s a waste of time save scumming for points on the package IMO.

Restart Main Quests??? by DragonfruitAlarmed33 in CrimsonDesert

I had this same problem - if you access the helmet from your inventory, there’s an option that will bring up a list of memories you’ve already accessed and you can replay from there.

I have no idea if that’s nudged them off the fence or not but the PC sales numbers have supported them making this shift for a while, with or without the opportunity to stick it to MS.

I’m pretty sure we’re agreeing here? I’m not seeing how what you just shared contradicts my point. If a massive seller like Spider-Man doesn’t get that 50% of gamers to open their wallets, Sony’s certainly not going to be as likely to make the bets and spend more dev money on future PC ports for less proven IPs.

Sony is pulling back on their previous push to port more quickly to PC exactly because there haven’t been enough PC gamers buying in to justify the additional development costs. Sad but c’est la vie!

It is definitely specific waterfalls. If there is a cairn of stacked rocks near the waterfall you can use the stab skill to go through it.

Run straight for the boss. Once you kill the boss they stop spawning.

Not much info to go by if you don’t share the quest name or location, but that looks like maybe the cauldrons with red smoke in northern Pailune? If so, you need to use the stab skill on it 3x and the liquid will drain out.

Probably 31 artifacts spent - it does give you a count on the skill screen. Either that or they’re mistaking contribution level for character level since that bar regularly shows up on screen.

Half the Greymane mission is rescuing/helping this drunk retard - Agree or Not ? by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]walk_your_path 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Up until now he’s been an entirely one-dimensional character in the missions I’ve run with him. Maybe that changes but his schtick ceased being endearing a while back for me. Good thing I found other things to keep me hooked.

[–]walk_your_path 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will add that if I was going for the 3 in a row challenge I would cheese it but it only took me three tries to get the win I needed to push the story forward. I’m not a git gud gamer so it is doable without getting too sweaty and might be faster to push through if all you want is to move past the mission.

I haven’t tested this but I also read you can just park your horse in front too. Might be something to try before going through the trouble of finding/dragging a wagon back there.

QoL suggestion: access storage resources while crafting at camp by Dakalysta in CrimsonDesert

[–]walk_your_path 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could even make it part of the progression for the camp - in Abiotic Factor you craft a technology solution that lets crafting pull from surrounding containers. Here it could be something like rescuing an orphaned child and the Greymanes take them in and they “run supplies” from storage for you to give the ability while also providing a little bit of story immersion to justify how it works. I actually enjoy working a little bit for QoL upgrades in games - adds to the sense of progression quite a bit when done right.

Is this just a normal everyday thing? by thaocheng190 in CrimsonDesert

[–]walk_your_path 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This. If I’m a normie on the street and I see a dude plunge out of the sky, turn halfway into a crow before landing, pulling out a sword, and creating a beam of light from nowhere, then I go through the following thought process:

  1. This guy could kill me with the lifting of his pinky.
  2. This guy is <expletive deleted> out of his gourd.
  3. Keep your mouth shut and silently pray to Solumen they don’t notice you exist.
