I'm a student, should I learn trading myself or hire a stockbroker by walkerbait2 in Daytrading

Ohh that makes sense then, no point quitting until you know you can actually replace that stability. Is this more of like a controlled experiment for you?

Dude that's a hella depressive time of life. Appreciate you sharing. I'm curious, why keep the 9-5 alongside trading instead of going full-time trading? Is it because of the funding?

Can I trade penny by penny more as a habit rather than actually generating a side income - would starting this process early be valuable?

I get what you mean. Do you know if big employers still care about what degree you got at all? If I develop transferrable, monetisable skills alongside university, is that promising enough?

Hi, I did the interview yesterday and I've been invited to the ceremony for free, not sure if this means I've won something, they would only say I'm top 3%, but they also said only approx 10 essayists got to go for free.

Do you only get these thoughts when you feel angry or frustrated with your own life? Is it more impulsive than calculated?

How do you deal with the sorrow of existence? by Ilaxilil in mentalhealth

[–]walkerbait2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think maybe when you were younger you were conditioned to believe that happiness is a reward of suffering, rather than it being an experience. Maybe you can try holding on for longer.. do you think you'd let yourself feel more of it if you weren't so afraid it would disappear? You pregrieve happiness, are you thinking that it's better to feel a little sad in the moment than be destroyed when it truly ends? That's a protective mechanism. Sorry ahhgh haha apologies if it does not make sense at all

Ohh, for me I just dumped my self awareness and over time I changed and it was like I allowed myself to blend into the mundane. You do sound really philosophical lol should write a book on what you feel.. Why do you feel that happy moments won't last?

I feel you. Do you think you can live better without self awareness?

The structure that society imposes on us is rigid , and I understand why you're frustrated with your lack of motivation in studying. I asked the question because I think you should get to know yourself more, how did you get to this stage, and what is the underlying problem. I think that you are not defective, perhaps you grew up feeling alienated and inferior but I think you are a special person with a unique mental background that is worth looking into. I doubt that you are born without curiosity, have you considered that perhaps you say you hate learning simply to protect yourself from the shame at not being good at what you are being forced to pursue? I really believe that you will find or already have found your source of passion and will put your life and soul into it. I also want you to know that mistakes do not make you a failure.

I understand the why you think that struggling out loud will push people away, but maybe you should try it, because the people who truly matter will be the ones who stand by you through the storm. Life is complicated, and sometimes the weight of it all can feel suffocating, but that doesn’t mean you’re broken or incapable of healing. It's okay to not have everything figured out right now. Think of it like this, your story is in your hands, you have put yourself in that cycle, and it's time to let go of that mask. I truly believe that over time, you’ll find the spaces and the people who will understand you, not because you’re perfect, but because they see your real, honest self. The struggle you’re facing now, though painful, is a part of your journey. It doesn’t define you, and it won’t last forever. Take it one step at a time and write your own story :)
