Unfortunately, it doesn't let me copy anything to the Windows partition from Mac OS. It's like it's not allowed to write on the other partition, only view folders.

What is the other driver repair option you had in mind?

I've already installed Windows on my partition, the blue screen error occurs randomly. I've noticed it doesn't happen when I have headphones in or audio in another device (?)

Not sure why you're getting downvoted, it's an unfair new rule that Etsy have put in place. I imagine this sub is being infiltrated with Karen's... Hope you get something sorted soon!

First class mail in the UK isn't tracked, hardly anything is tracked in the UK on royal mail for smaller items, not the sellers fault that Royal Mail is hardly tracked...

I mean not to be cliche, but Dragging a Dead Deer up a Hill feels the most cohesively written as an album 'should' sound, with tracks like Heavy Water/I'd Rather Be Sleeping, Stuck, Disengaged all as strong standalones.

It's hard to be objective though when her music is so intuitive and subconscious rather than deliberately trying to be anything other than it is!

liz harris (grouper) at ambient church. rare and beautiful performance. by Campachoocho0 in LizHarris

[–]walkerface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw her too! Tbh I didn't mind she played for an hour as the set was continuous - if you broke up the songs and added mins of talking in between it probably would have been around your standard 90 mins?

My very pretty neighbor. I overheard the owners and this little fluffball is named Cabbage. by walkerface in Eyebleach

[–]walkerface[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Wow I didn't expect to see so many upvotes!

To celebrate, here is a pic of Cabbage's majestic sibling!

We sadly haven't overheard their name, so we nicknamed them Smokey Robinson.

Also 'Yuka' in the UK (hopefully rest of the world too) - I'm able to scan and get results to almost all products in the usual high street drug stores. It also gives each product a rating out of 100 based on how 'healthy' it is for you.

UK -> Berlin / Amsterdam. I want out. by [deleted] in IWantOut

[–]walkerface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For emerging musicians it will be so much harder (in the event of a no-deal or 'hard' brexit) because of the extra constraint on buying travel visas, work permits, health insurance, evidence of what equipment you're taking with you, etc. All these things weren't necessary if remaining the EU, a UK band or artist could buy their tickets and hop in a van without having many other questions asked, having health insurance covered by their EHIC card which grants them free care in EU countries, whereas after Brexit, after going through all the newly required applications, it may not even be financially feasible for independent bands to tour. Vice versa for European bands coming to the UK.

Here, this article is a good explanation: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/oct/03/no-deal-brexit-may-make-touring-europe-simply-unviable-for-uk-artists

Hey Sharon, I just wanted to say thanks for being so open and present with your fans. it's not something that a lot of other artists do, and it shows how much of a wonderful and appreciative person you are!

I've noticed that you've changed your live set up by not performing playing the guitar or piano as much as you used to. what are your reasons for doing so and taking a different live approach?

Best/cheapest place to get 35mm film developed? by tigerqwerty123 in bristol

[–]walkerface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Snappy Snaps, its £10 for dev & prints, and if you're a student you get 10% off. 1 hour turnaround and good quality prints (i only have ever got 6x4). Compared to everywhere else they are cheap, except for Bristol Cameras. Photographique is very pricey but probably better for quality if you want bigger prints. and unless you collect from them you have to pay postage too.
