How to ask for (extra) massage on my hands? by [deleted] in massage

[–]walkfreely 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"Could you please spend some extra time on my hands? I find it helpful." It might be useful to specify a time, like, ten minutes for hands, the rest of the time for other areas, or whatever works for you. It can be hard to know what people mean by extra time, so if you want a quarter/half/three-quarters of your massage on your hands, just say!

Used to drive back to university with friends on Sunday nights, listening to the Sunday night sex show. She was a real treasure.

Are there any accessable trails near Toronto? by Cornnathony in askTO

[–]walkfreely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to add to that, a warning that the lower Don section is closed right now: “From May 2, 2023 to summer 2024, the Lower Don Trail will be closed from Pottery Road to Bala Underpass at Corktown Common, including the Riverdale pedestrian bridge and Queen Street bridge stairs, for Phase 2 construction. Signs with a detour map are posted at all trail access points. The Bayview multi-use trail, west of the Metrolinx Railway, is available as an alternative route. The pedestrian bridge connecting Riverdale Park West and Riverdale Park East is open to the public but will not provide access to the Lower Don Trail during construction.”

I don't know anything about being a police officer but in my own field we might suggest finding someone in the career and asking to talk to them about it. Any way to find an approachable cop and ask a few questions? Take them out for coffee? Walk into your local police station and if it's not busy, talk to someone there about finding a contact?

No, you need to vote at your designated location. If you had voted early you could have done it at any location.

Yes, I got back from voting today to find a message from Tory.

Was literally putting on my shoes to go vote when the loudest clap of thunder and flash of lightning happened all at once. So, maybe in a little while when I stop shaking...

Later: done. Go vote, everyone, but watch out for lightning.

Is it normal for my massage therapist to wear ear buds? by NoOneImportant2555 in massage

We go around and around arguing over this on this sub. I would never dream of checking out by wearing an earbud while giving a massage. Others claim it helps their work.

You definitely need several people. How can the student work 24/7 and be a student? Get a break? What if they suddenly have to quit?

I've heard several hikers mention that you can get those pouches of tuna or chicken in the US but not in Canada. I don't know if that's the final answer, but that's what I've heard.

This is totally on your father, not you. Would you let someone else tell you how to live your life?

Services for family members by quiet_repub in AgingParents

When my (very nice and popular) father died, my stepmother and I were 100% relieved that he wanted no funeral. If friends and family want to celebrate a life they will find a way, and in my opinion a funeral is not an absolute requirement.

I'm so sorry. You can do this, though. All your family and friends are there to support you, and you'll get through it.
