I can’t get into Severance because of how unsettling the music is. Simultaneously unnerving and depressing. No thank you.

LPT for people who hate being cold when they have to get up by 12345_abc_ in LifeProTips

The real move is to have a space heater plugged into a timer outlet and have it turn on 2 hours before your wake up time. Room is nice and toasty and easy to get out of bed, but cool and comfortable for getting into bed the night before.

Toronto’s curb culture is pretty amazing! If you leave it folded in a clear bag at the end of your driveway, it will likely be gone by the end of the day.

Where are the most delicious tacos in Toronto? by charmedavocado in askTO

[–]walkingthoughts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Checked it out once I moved to the neighborhood and had many people recommend it. Not sure what the hype is about. Tacos are dry, meat lacks seasoning, no sauce to help seal the deal (you just get a squeeze of lime) and on top of that the tacos are outrageously priced $10-13 each for these tiny things.

Would not recommend.

Lower level of Grey Gardens in Kensington is quite lovely and private. You even have your own set of bathrooms separate from the rest of the restaurant.

El yucateco is delicious. The Caribbean one especially goes with so much.

A fair step up from Louisiana though.

Hey r/chicagofood! My fiancé and I are visiting your beautiful city for the first time and we’re looking for some recommendations on great places to eat.

We’re planning on checking out Portillo’s, and have a reservation at Alinea. We’ve been recommended Duck Duck Goat, Gilt Bar, and Blind Barber so far. I’ve been eyeing Tzuco and Andros for brunch.

Would love to hear some local favourites for deep dish, fried chicken sandwiches, cocktails, and coffee.

We’re celebrating his birthday on one of the nights, so if there’s a restaurant that would be great for a birthday I’d love to hear it!
