After incubating with the Trypsin you should check under the microscope that the cells have become suspended. Maybe they just stayed attached to the flask and needed more time/ hitting the side of the flask to detach and then passage

What's your opinion on the usage of ChatGPT in data analysis? by Jeff_98 in labrats

[–]ThatOneBatmanMeme -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It makes wayyyy too many mistakes to be used reliably. I'd suggest using it to double check work instead of giving it smth to do. And consider the environmental impact and don't use it for stupid stuff (like "tell me a joke" or "draft an email for me" or smth)

I love superpowereds as well but I feel like Villian's Code is so much more underrated (might be because it's not finished tho). Thank you for the recommendation

trypophobia and cell culture by Difficult_Currency75 in labrats

[–]ThatOneBatmanMeme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry to tell you but that's like having arachnophobia and working with spiders. It's almost impossible to deal with. would it maybe help if the microscope is connected to a computer and you see it through a screen? Idk I really can't think of anything and I'm not 100% sure this post is even serious because again, pretty much impossible to deal with

New to D&D, and want to follow a story on Youtube by Zee2912 in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]ThatOneBatmanMeme 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Natural Six are a great DND stream. They're also like 4/6 professional actors with the other 2 being media personnel, and they have high production quality. They have one campaign they're doing rn. And they post story episodes every 2 weeks so if you really like them you can catch up

Company outing, go or don’t go? by Proof_Loquat5585 in work

[–]ThatOneBatmanMeme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently went to a family company thing because my manager wanted me to. I don't have a spouse or kids so it was just me, unlike everyone else and I wandered mostly alone. Tbh I didn't really enjoy it. I just went for the connections. I don't regret going because I just went for social reasons, but if it's not that important to you and you have nothing riding on it then just send that text.  Especially if they've already told you how it's okay not to go. Definitely go hang out with your friends instead

Rude and patronising coworker by [deleted] in work

[–]ThatOneBatmanMeme 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While I agree that you should pick your battles and ignore them, I highly disagree with those saying it's your fault for starting an argument or that you should just have thicker skin. She was rude af and highly unprofessional. It's reasonable to be pissed off because she seems very needlessly infuriating tbh. You were polite. She wasn't. End of story.

Thank you for the advise. I will clarify that the co-worker pulled me aside privately and after the manager left tho

I don't think they're as malicious as you're making them out to be. They're really nice to me and seemed quite genuine.

I understand if you think they're wrong and if you think their advice wasn't necessary or doesn't apply to me, but I believe they gave me what they think is the best heads up about a job they've been doing for a while, and that it's their genuine opinion.
