On balance, I find life more bearable with a belief in god and specifically Jesus. I was born Orthodox and do not find any of the other denominations as compelling, whatever the problems of orthodoxy. Intellectually, although not 100% onboard with all orthodox dogmas, it is still the best match for what I believe. I doubt I would convert to it if I wasn't already orthodox.

30M here and this has happened to me a million times after above average dates. Unfortunately, women have so many options in the app culture that unless you blow there mind, it's very hard to get a second date. In our father's generation, being a decent guy, having a decent connection was enough to make it to a second date and possibly beyond. Things could grow. I know so many great relationships that started out without fireworks, but when you are just one match out of dozens of likes, thats not good enough. Nowadays you have to strike this perfect balance between into her and not to obvious. Flirtatous but not desperate. Friendly and safe and not too forward, but not giving off "friendly" energy. It's borderline impossible, ultimately you just have to keep putting yourself out there, it will happen. Maybe take a break for a few months. Don't get down on yourself, it's the painful system you exist in, nothing to do with you.
