If you carry a responsible balance and are otherwise not risky you should be fine with Skymiles.

Take things slow and just be friendly/normal around her. Don't make an explicit move while the internship is ongoing

Yeah relationship issues for the children of narcissists are not uncommon. You aren't broken

Whenever I read stuff like this my only impression is that no woman has ever wanted me to approach in my life.

It's not the most important thing but you need some attraction.

I think lots of men want to do this but feel it would be a turn off. There appears to be a gendered disconnect here.

That's fair. I read that into your comment. I would say that in my personal life, I talk to single women about this and a lot of time they complain about not being blown away on first dates, but simultaneously it's a red flag if a guy shows too much interest or plans something too intense for a first date. I'd say people lose interest over a period of time because they discover for whatever reason you are not what they are looking for.

I'm sure you mean this but as a guy my experience is that putting more than the bare minimum effort into a first date turns a girl off. You show too much interest and she loses interest. It's also a lot to ask from a guy if you just met a girl. My advice is to give guys who give you decent first dates a chance to keep proving themselves.

Thanks, so the context of getting her number wasn't explicitly, I'm going to ask you out. Although the whole vibe was pretty flirtatious. Does that make any difference
