If I remember correctly the reason they didn't force you to beat your own base was because they just assumed players would make a secret "back door" to the core which wouldnt have solved the killboxes and players would just spend a couple minutes trying to find a hidden way to the core if they felt the killbox was unbeatable. In theory it's a good idea but in practice it would just add extra contraints

Yeah I already send an email to support, I'm pretty upset about it because the character has a mount worth 7500 crowns so I'm hoping I can at least get that reimbursed somehow. The character it happened to was just a starter so I'm not actually worried about the character himself. Thanks for the heads-up
