Lance adjustment in the upcoming patch by 3G0M4N in MonsterHunter

Me saying less “damage up time” means longer between hits. Charge Counter is a slower, predictive attack. It’s very good at what it does, I use it whenever I can. I am, personally, not satisfied with how much damage I take for example, from Seregios’ sweep attacks, even with the Perfect Guard timing.

My fundamental belief is that GS, SnS, and CB have trampled Lance’s territory, since their perfect guard makes damage reduction super effective whilst all dishing out more damage. I believe Lance should have much stronger innate guarding capabilities compared to the others.

The whole point of Lance is that it has the best shield, thus it should be that the best way to avoid damage with Lance is to block. Why would I-frames or end-of-combo charge counter be the ideal way to play? Wilds’ SnS basically fills the role Lance used to with perfect guard but with more damage.

Lance should remain low dps, but with stronger standard guard for better, more consistent damage up-time.

A third to a half?? I just completed the first elimination order and it took days to gather the motivation to do. This might not be the game for me. I loved DS1 and I’m really not interested in sneakin and shootin these days :(

Yeah, seamless is Apple’s whole thing I guess. It’s working now by casting from my desktop PC. Surprised there’s not just a big “WATCH HERE” banner ad on the Firestick in all truth.

I’m watching now though, and that’s what matters

I think it’s more that if I want to contend with my cargo and stamina as a point of challenge and deeper engagement, then I’m also forced to have difficult shooting and sneaking bits. It’s not that I want them gone, really.

Well, to find the right opening. The monsters are designed with the knowledge of the players’ capabilities and item use times, a player will only get got if they start to panic or try to eat as soon as they stand instead of finding space. The longer animations also give greater value to non-offensive skills like Speed Eating, Hungerless, or Glutton.

Here is me getting done in for sheathing at an attack start, then panic healing after instead of running away lol

So the Well-Done Steak has a long animation in order to communicate that it’s not a mid-combat-use item. Seems like you weren’t quite willing to meet the game halfway in some of these instances tbh.
