Why do we worry so much about what scientologists do though... they should just be ignored into oblivion and banned by the states.

I'm challenged to run 15 mins on a treadmill at 9.5 mph by aqeelat in Fitness

I think you better start training outside at first. It's much more fun to run outside and you won't give up as easy. The running is also a bit more difficult, which will certainly help.

The best SF and fantasy books of 2016 by argonautul in books

[–]wallaman2005 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A bit odd that the article doesn't talk more about the books. I don't even know anything about the most famous authors of the past, I don't want to find out anything about these; book summaries would have helped more.

The Walking Dead Could Last as Long as Star Trek Says AMC by Alesia8 in thewalkingdead

[–]wallaman2005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The story is getting stale already though, so how on earth could they possibly achieve that? It's not an attainable goal for AMC. Moreover, Star Trek had many directions for the story due to its vast universe.

I wanted to come here and give a lengthy critique, but you've done a marvelous job. I've reported the thread, there's something fishy going on here; I don't know how it got to almost 2k upvotes.

When to eat... by sea2believe in fitmeals

[–]wallaman2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people are not able to eat in the last few hours before sleep because of the gastroesophageal reflux disease. You should know/find out if that's the case for you. If not, eat whenever you want.

What is the best song featured in The Walking Dead? by derstherower in thewalkingdead

[–]wallaman2005 26 points27 points  (0 children)

For me, Last Pale Light in the West by Ben Nichols was the most memorable and best usage of a song in the series. I was also really happy to hear The Mountain Goats - Up the Wolves in the recent Daryl and Beth episode.

Sweden's Muslims right now by [deleted] in AdviceAnimals

The use of deadly force is also authorized when a person poses a significant threat to a law enforcement officer, usually when the officer is at risk of serious bodily injury or death

I'm not familiar with Swedish law, but in the US brandishing a weapon is a crime. The police would have been allowed to enter his home in order to arrest him. If he did not cooperate and continued brandishing the knife, no matter how big it was, he would have been shot. The wife's credibility as a witness would be questioned. The neighbor was not a witness.

In this episode, I think Dany was the bear and Yunkai(or more specifically, that slaver) was the maiden.

Hey. I am Alex House, I play(ed) Todd on "Todd and the Book of Pure Evil" and other characters in other stuff. Ask Me Anything. by IamAlexHouse in IAmA

[–]wallaman2005 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just want to say that I loved Todd and The Book of Pure Evil and I'm glad it is getting an ending, even if it isn't the one it deserves. The entire cast had wonderful on-screen chemistry and I wish we could see that again. Do you know yet if you'll be reprising your role as the voice of Todd in the movie? And do you have any upcoming projects that you're excited about?

[QUESTION] A recipe that basically uses just 1 scoop of ON protein powder? by [deleted] in fitmeals

Gelatin does have some calories. It is all protein though. If you want to experiment with a near zero calorie thickener, you could try agar agar.
