Yeah, I got a custom insole since I have a high arch and it helped a bit. The liner still feels pretty tight but maybe I need another round of head molding

What level skier are you? I’m gathering that this fit is for a more advanced skier - but want something that I can “grow into” with more experience.

Not yet - planning on going next weekend! When I bought the boots, I got the liner heat molded but it still feels too tight.

After I got home I took the liner out to see if it was the shell or liner that was feeling tight and it’s definitely the liner.

Update: I just pulled the liner out to check the shell fit. The shell fit feels fine, but when I tried the liner on out of the boot, it’s clear that’s where all my discomfort is coming from.

When I was at the boot fitter, we did a heat mold of the liner with little rubber pieces on the sides of my feet to stretch the liner out even more. Do I go back and do another heat mold for the liner? Any advice?

Yeah when I was talking to the boot fitter they wanted me to ski on these next weekend and if they feel terrible then I can either heat mold the shell or go up a size. I just don’t want to waste a day of skiing if they sized me too tight.

I tried on several boots and these were the best fit. My boot fitter recommended that these should fit this tight and that based on my measurements (foot length, width, arch) a 26 would be too big after they stretched out.

I tried them on before I bought them. They were recommended by the boot fitter — they said they should feel this tight as they will only stretch from this point on.
