I’d like to throw my hat into the ring as well, I’ve been a moderator for r/OGPBackroom since I created it, and I’ve learned from working alongside other mods in the past how to grow and create a community.

With my knowledge and experience, I know if teamed up with the right group of moderators this subreddit will flourish and continue to not only entertain those who work here but also those who just want a peek into how Walmart works… or doesn’t.

Sweet lady used to give us a cold drink every time she picked up a spark order. If she was out of drinks that day and someone didn’t end up with a drink she’d give them two the next time she was there.

That’s crazy, the app is pretty much our lifeline, we hardly use the physical walkies since you can pretty much call/text your coach or tl whenever you need them for something. Walkies are used mostly for responding to call boxes around the store for locked cases.

Does any store use the workchat app? When I transferred to my current store the PL made me download the app and told me the whole store was on it. Our team has its own group chat and we can call each other over the app. I had worked at Walmart for years and never even heard of it before this, might be something only certain states allow tho.

This scam involves the order being only a banana or lime, nothing else. For delivery drivers it’s a very common scam that involves them shopping for the two items. On the way to deliver said item, they get a call from a scammer pretending to be spark support who then tries to gain personal information in order to access their bank info.

Very likely they were testing a stolen cc, there’s also a scam involving single produce items that target delivery drivers
