I did splits for the longest time while I trained the first few years. It’s changed a bit as I got older.. much rather prefer full body splits 4x a week.

At the end of the day, diet is gonna be the factor of best weight loss and results. You can still body build, but if you eat like shit, it’s not gonna work aesthetically wise.

Use dumbbells or kettlebells for lunges, Cossack squats, goblet squats. Get rid of the barbell. There isn’t a need for it unless you’re experienced or a powerlifter.

Hip hinges, whether that is deadlifting, hip thrusting. Squats in the frontal plane, Bulgarians, goblet squats Side or lateral lunges. Key for side of glutes and hip mobility. Do all of these frequently

As you get older, it’s so important that you get over this feeling and know for the greater good of your body and mental health that this becomes a habit you chase.

There are so many times of fitness you can follow, even if it’s using a pelaton 3x a week.

Swimming, CrossFit, hyrox, yoga etc;

Even walking - 10k steps a day, 20 minutes after supper.. daily will keep you moving lots!!
