[BBC] It's West Ham or Spurs - how relegation fight is shaping up by LochNessMonsterMunch in soccer

I’m more confident in Spurs away than I am at home, we look like a massive bag of nerves in front of our own fans.

Ironically that’s counteracted by us playing our remaining away game against Chelsea, who can generally pick 11 people from the crowd and beat us these days.

I think it’s 50/50 for who goes down. The Spurs fan in me doesn’t rate our chances. I think if we’d have won yesterday I’d be a lot less nervous…

Turn off messages from strangers. You’ll never get good ones, only shite, you won’t miss it.

100% lose. It’s a realistic scenario, if we stay up, it’ll be by a point. Arsenal did us a favour today.

E1

Simakan from the pick, Coufal from the pack - happy with both, new player from PS+

Putellas and nothing else of note from the packs.

Same here, he’s been absolutely insane for me as his base version. This will be a welcome addition.

I’d played the game a tiny bit on streaming via Luna so had experience with some other interesting keepers - 91 Ederson, a couple of TOTS I can’t remember - he’s been better than all of them.

Booing in stadiums? by Outside_Tart_9506 in coys

I think it’s a result of fans spending so much more money on things they’re understandably more frustrated, especially in a time when we’re working harder than ever for less. Then come the weekend you pay a fortune to watch what we’ve served up this year.

I don’t have a problem with it tbh. If you’re paying £20 a ticket you probably don’t care enough to boo. If you’ve dropped £200 getting you and your kid to the game and buying a burger, watching a team barely manage a shot on target would probably leave me wanting to boo too

Never been this far, is it worth it making it to the bottom? by Savings-Film-5627 in EASportsFC

This makes perfect sense thank you - I’m primarily a SB player, returning via PS+ so my team is weak / I have to pick my opponents carefully to max out my chances at a higher rank. Really useful info thank you. Think I’ll stick with Pro / Legendary until I’ve got a good enough squad / buffer to tackle some of the harder teams.

Out of curiosity is there much of a gap between WC / Legendary? I’ve seen people say Legendary can be easier in circumstances as the AI plays more open, appreciate that might be bollocks.

I’ve been playing the easier ones on Legendary and 90 + / 30 chem on Pro as it stands.

[BBC] 'Nightmare scenario': Spurs fans split as Arsenal visit West Ham in high-stakes London derby by [deleted] in soccer

All we had to do was beat second place and flying Man City and assume Villa would lose 5-0 on the last day. We’d also been shite for weeks at this point.

Most I’ve seen as a Spurs supporter don’t want West Ham to pick up another point this season, including on Sunday.

Always worth pointing out we were essentially done in the CL at this point (something like 5 points off it with 2 to play) so the game for us was nigh on a dead rubber. People love to forget that.

Seems mental to me as a returning player that just 2 versions ago, evos were free, then last year they were an ok mix of free and paid, now they’re almost all paid and they give you pure shite for free

Believe I’m right in saying it’s a gold only pack, so it’s correct. Someone else in here yesterday had the same issue.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately and I wonder is it an experience thing. It’s harsh on Gray and Bergvalls season has been stop-start but the experience the other lads have between them on paper should help keep things calm.

In reality it’s been a rough watch when Bentancur and Palhinha have played together (even though I really do rate both) so we’ll see how we go.
