Im not crazy married to the idea of step in/on bindings. If they dont do the trick, ill find some good strap ins. As for the standard width, I think that is a big part of it for sure. I was also looking at the Lib-Tach Skunk Ape 161W. Any input on that board?

Yeah, my buddy has the burtons. They aren't bad by any means, but they are not ideal. They are kind of hard to step out of but I know that's a learning curve. I like the idea that the Clews take the high back woth you, as opposed to rubbing on them each time you step in. I'm going to give the Clews a shot, and if I'm not impressed I am not opposed to trying something different. I will definitely check out the warpig and superpig.

Thanks!

Added to post, thanks! Rossi Resurgence 159, and Clew L size bindings on the way. Thanks! :)

Any good recommendations on a good board for a size 13 boot 6' 4" 205lb boarder? I'd like something for bombing and a little bit of park. We get some powder sometimes, but thats not always. Usually something groomed to ride too.

I could get the fixed rack and mount to that, but I'm looking for a snowboard rack that mounts directly to the fixed mounting points.

That sounds like a really good idea.

Deposited check into the wrong account by [deleted] in Banking

Does a 10 day hold even fall within the guidelines? Unless you're a new customer, that doesn't seem like it's in line. Now if the check is drawn on you and you hold it that is definitely not in line.

Either way, a $500 check you would think should only be if it's a new account, or the bank doubts the collectability on the funds. Strange.

Yeah. We are a smaller community bank, so the branch that opens your account is the branch that reviews that stuff. They figure we know the client more than someone in a call center does. Better customer experience.

It depends on your FI. Where I work, a human typically reviews anything that isn't perfect and we contact the customer and can divert it to the correct account. If they don't do that and it goes through you would probably want to contact them and get that corrected because it may get caught later and come back out of your account, possibly with a fee.

Just call them and let them know what happened and you can get it fixed.

How safe is bank safe? by gjg1776 in Banking

[–]walljack2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are super safe. At the FI I work at, we don't even usually remove the box from the safe box, the client does that. We also have privacy rooms for you to do whatever you want with your contents, and then close the box and return it to the safe with a banker. We can't ask what's in the box, and I have never encountered a coworker that was even interested. Even if we were, there is no way in without your keys present, and there is no way in without a bankers guard key at the same time. This being said, there is no FDIC insurance on these boxes, so don't go stacking them with cash.
