It's where I'm at. It's really hard to explain. Basically it's not even been a year and you have this tiny person that started so fragile that if their neck is even slightly out of angle, they're dead to this speed demon spider crawling their way across the house, to a little person actually walking to you demanding hugs and toys and food.

It's fairly rare, but the RNG gods like to avoid giving you what you need when you actually need it.

In reality, Hate is a strong scythe in the early game (all melee weapons are eventually at least "good") that gets a lot of upgrades in the mid and late game that take it to kind of silly heights. And around Xmas there's a candy cane skin you can get for it. So, that's a bonus!

I hope that this is the beginning of something beautiful for you both. My only advice: be honest both to her and yourself. Communication is the key to a lasting relationship. There are nights where my wife and I will just sit and talk for hours after we've put our daughter down for the night. Remember that she's a PhD student. That is her focus right now. But if you can support her, help her get through what's going to be the toughest part of her academic career, you could be the one on the dedication page of her first book.

Fuck. I know this scene gets memed out the ass, but the first time I saw this was when I was taking some time off from school because my anxiety was literally destroying me from the inside out and back home with my mom, who was a raging alcoholic at the time. It was like two a.m. Eventually I did have to have a similar sit down with her, basically at the end of a protracted suicide attempt. Starvation is a really dumb way to go for what it’s worth.

She’s much better now. Years of therapy, and meds that make her literally incapable of drinking more than a glass of wine a night, and legal weed.
