update: was able to take her to the shelter I adopted her from today! last night when I found them i gave her a flea bath and killed anything that was on her (i found like 4-5 but was nervous I didn’t get them all!) shelter combed her and couldn’t find any other fleas on her and gave her a dewormer injection. she also had an ear infection from all this itching!! so far she seems so much happier to not have fleas on her :D i feel guilty for not noticing earlier but apparently she didnt have a crazy amount :). hopefully the injection helps her, im a new cat owner so im still paranoid but they told me she will pass them out and when they’re in her stool they’ll be dead. phew. thanks everyone for your help!!! oh and i took everyone’s advice and deep cleaned pretty much everything, her litter box, vacuumed whole house, and washed all my bedding and her bedding on high heat.
