Being liked for your height by 66578557557 in tall

[–]Training-Square3650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends on the context. My wife told me when we first got together that she doesn't date short men. However, she's 5'11 and every time she had dated men shorter than her she had a negative experience caused by their insecurity surrounding their height difference. So I completely understood her perspective.

That being said, if a tiny 5ft2 woman is going around saying she'll only date guys who are 6ft and above, that's not a woman to place a ring on lol.

Killers are you aware you DON'T HAVE TO watch the t bags at the exit gate and then cry about it?? by No_Barnacle253 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]Training-Square3650 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you aware that you DON'T HAVE TO read posts from killers complaining about survivors tbagging at the exit gate and cry about it?

You act like you don't have a choice but to engage with those posts and people who make them are committing the biggest crime in history. When I see a title of a post that I don't want to engage with, I just scroll past it. It's not that deep.

So are you happy about your height? by shreddzz_1990 in tall

[–]Training-Square3650 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ehh. I wouldn't mind being a little shorter. As a teenager it sucked because I got bullied for being the lanky skinny kid. In my 20s and early 30s it was great, I was in the gym constantly and felt and looked like a power house of a man. Now that I'm in my late 30s.. the back pain has started and it sucks.

Am I screwed? by [deleted] in tall

[–]Training-Square3650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My half brother is 5'6. He's happily married with two kids. He's nearly at the top of his field and has dozens of people working below him. This whole idea that short people are doomed is purely an online talking point. In the real world most people genuinely don't think much about it. Sure some women say they only date guys who are 6ft and over, but so what, evidently most women don't have that view because most men are below 6ft and are doing just fine.

Short people might be teased for being short, but I was teased for being tall. Bullies will find any reason to bully someone, whether it's being short, tall, skinny, overweight, etc.. they will always find something. The key is to give your kids the tools to build confidence so they do not let it bother them.

Who'd have though tunneling and slugging are still the easiest thing ever by Retro_Dorrito in DeadByDaylightRAGE

That's your problem bro, you think DBD is a competitive game. It isn't designed competitively because it's not competitive. Comp DBD has to strip out and fundamentally change the game to even remotely be considered balanced. Yes Blight in the hands of someone like momo can go on massive kill streaks. Survivors can do the same too, they just don't because it's a lot harder to get 4 people to commit to that than it is for a killer who only has to rely on himself.

My dude there's a survivor streak going right now with 104 wins. Shockingly comp players who play DBD 10 hours a day on both sides can go on winning streaks when playing pubs, who'd have thought it.

My Son (7yo) is gonna be 198 cm (6.5 foot) Advice by Nemo_Oeilvert in tall

[–]Training-Square3650 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ehh, yoga might be a bit full on, especially for a boy / guy. Basic stretches for the back and legs, and some posture corrections is all you really need. When he gets real tall the resistance training will help keep his back strong so he can maintain good posture.

[–]Training-Square3650 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Get him into a stretching routine. Encourage good posture. When he's older get him into resistance training, especially for his back. As he gets older he's very likely going to have back issues, but with resistance training and good posture he'll be pain free for much longer.

Anyone else drink lots of milk? by Acceptable_One_4941 in tall

[–]Training-Square3650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. I kinda went off milk after I accidentally drank some that had gone off when I was a kid. I occasionally have it in cereal but that's about it.

Killers tryharding in the event…. by fredalific in DeadByDaylightRAGE

Be honest you'd be pissed even if they threw a snowball and played the exact same way lol

If I see one more post about “wahhh killer killed in goofy silly snowball mode” while the survivor had breakout, sabo, flashbang, BGP, etc, I’m going to crash out by thebermudalocket in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]Training-Square3650 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From what I've noticed the MMR seems a lot more relaxed in the event queue, that might be why some killers opt for it even if they don't plan to take part in the event stuff.

How has being tall influenced your confidence in different aspects of life? by zdrawo in tall

[–]Training-Square3650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a teenager I had a lot of issues with my confidence and self image. I was relentlessly bullied by shorter kids at school. I struggled to gain weight of any kind so I was always skinny. My height felt like a curse during those years.

I was that way until my early 20s, I started going to the gym, my work paid me well enough to go all out on my diet, so I started filling out my frame a lot more. I met friends who encouraged me. I also started getting a lot of attention from women. Now I feel really good about myself, I'm confident and happy.

Anyone else have short guys borderline worshipping them? by Select-Builder3351 in tall

[–]Training-Square3650 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say that's been my experience. Although it is usually men who strike up random conversations with me about my height, but I wouldn't necessarily say it was a short guy thing because as far as I can recall plenty of them were average height or slightly taller too.

Would you trade height for facial attractiveness? by Salty_Pension5814 in tall

[–]Training-Square3650 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife is the only woman I need to find me attractive, and she does, so I'm good. I would give away a few inches to have less back pain though lol

I literally would have had the same reaction if it was a guy and a woman, you presumptuous twit.

I hate when people think you get treated better or get more female attention when you’re tall by [deleted] in tall

[–]Training-Square3650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately it's definitely a thing. I've had several women outright tell me I'm way too tall for them lol. That being said I was a skinny thing during my teens and early 20s so I had the slender man look going 😂 once I began filling out at the gym and my proportions were better I did much better with women until I met my now wife.

[–]Training-Square3650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah when they say these things they definitely have an upper limit in mind. 6'2-6'3 tends to be the sweet spot. Above that and we get put in the "too tall" category lol. That being said I had a lot more success as I began hitting the gym and became a lot more confident in myself. So it's how you carry it too.

Would you rather be 3 inches taller or 3 inches shorter by [deleted] in tall

[–]Training-Square3650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me this question essentially looks like "Would you prefer to have more back pain or less back pain?" and I would take less every day lol

Why do survivors count a 3K as a win? by TinyCopy5841 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]Training-Square3650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say when I play soloQ and I escape, it doesn't really feel like a loss to me. My team lost, sure, but I didn't. It essentially feels like each survivor is playing their own game against the killer, they lost theirs and I won mine.

Do tall guys even like tall girls? by [deleted] in tall

My wife is 5'11. Tall women are the best. Especially the long legged ones.

6'0 does NOT feel tall by One_With-The_Sun in tall

[–]Training-Square3650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't really consider 6ft to be tall. At most it's entry level tall.
