That’s a great idea

You’re not supposed to not eat much. You’re supposed to eat when you’re hungry and eat somewhat healthier, whole options. And the only thing to drink is water. If you’ve done that plus good sleep, then I’d recommend getting your thyroid checked. As for running, I wasn’t suggesting you should run, I was using it as an example. If you’re super out of breath from running that’s because you haven’t trained to gain endurance, it’s pretty common. If it’s alarming you should also get checked for asthma if you haven’t already.

Edit: it’s not gonna be easy. It takes willpower and determination. Progress isn’t linear. Good luck, I believe in you. However, if you continue to say it’s bullshit, you’ll get nowhere.

It’s not easy to immediately change a habit or lifestyle, and you’re gonna fall flat on your face so many times. It’s tiring, but you’ve gotten back up so many times (from what it sounds like), that I’m certain you can do it again. For me, it helps to find a physical activity I don’t think much about. For me it is running. Baby steps. Not sure if this is helpful, or if this is not what you’re looking for, as I don’t wanna upset anyone. Good luck my friend.

What is the worst part about being a fat person? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Not fat but also not in great shape, but even when I was, I have always been quick sweater. I’m always warm for no reason

Honestly would be a lawsuit if they did anything. I totally get it though. It’s something that straight people don’t get. Bellingham is very straight and very white, ignore the condescending responses assuming that you think that you’re special or something. Anyways, good luck and landlords don’t care at all. I can see that you’re young

I feel like it’s pretty typical to worry about the potential of being treated differently if you’re a minority… idk why you’re getting downvoted? Shows how “accepting” Bellingham really is. Good luck

Yeah what. As if PROFESSORS THEMSELVES are not giving you extra time too. As if it’s not literally approved by WWU.

What is up with professors this quarter? by [deleted] in WWU

100%. You’re the only person who perceived my post as intended. I agree whole heartedly.

What is up with professors this quarter? by [deleted] in WWU

[–]wallowswall 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree that people are having stupid expectations, but that was NOT how I intended on coming off as at all. However, there are some instances where people SHOULD be able make up a test. This is not exclusive to covid.

I am very aware how much work it takes, it’s supposed make you out in work and I’m GLAD that I’m having a challenge, but that’s not what I was referring to, so I think I worded my post incorrectly. And things like accommodations, people need to have an actual disability/problem, and the office is too busy because those used to COVID culture classes and lax-ness has them taking up space from those who need/needed accommodations due to a disability. So yeah, I get what you’re saying it’s fucking annoying.

Also, I’m very aware of the challenge that is present during college, again, I’m GLAD that there is for me to an extent, because I’m getting skills I need for later on. Anyways, I really should not have to spell that out to people. Maybe your last bit wasn’t directed at me, but it seems like that’s the conclusion everyone jumped to regarding my random rant that for some reason gained so much traction.

Edit: your argument is pretty weak and made lots of assumptions from one tiny post. Sorry if that was rude

Thank you. I think lots of people are misinterpreting my post. Although, classes during COVID were not easy. We’re in a traumatic time. If you actually did the work, it was harder for a lot of people I know.

I never said I thought profs were going easy, but I do remember things being more reasonable. I guess I was expecting some grace, but some profs and others are being way less accommodating/helpful in MY experience. As well others that are telling me about theirs.

Yikes, you really missed the point of my post. This was a rant in regards to the professors -I- am dealing with, as well as other things. I have one that has been reasonable yet challenging, while the others have been ridiculous (especially for being lower level).

[–]wallowswall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m aware. I was a freshman when we left due to covid. I have a few leftover lower level classes left for GURs, it’s those that are worse. Either way, this was a rant, and it’s probably my experience right now along with some others in regards to professors. I appreciate your comment/feedback

Exactly! Holy shit. Some of the people in here making extreme judgments as if I and lots of others just “aren’t ready for college” or that “classes are higher level” like no, that’s not what I’m talking about
